Stump Removal — common questions
How deep do you grind the stump?
Standard grinding goes 300–400mm below ground — well below the surface, so you can lay turf, pave or replant over the spot.
Will the stump grow back?
No. Grinding well below ground level removes the part of the stump that would otherwise reshoot, which is why we describe the result as zero regrowth.
Can you get a grinder into a tight side path or courtyard?
Yes. Tight-access grinding — narrow paths, courtyards and between structures — is one of the things we are set up for, and the work is done without damaging the surrounding surfaces.
What happens to the grindings?
The site is cleaned up. The mulch from the grinding can be left for your garden or removed, whichever you ask for.
Can you remove several stumps in one visit?
Yes — whether it is one old stump, a stump from a recent removal, or multiple stumps across a site.
